To be successful and move ahead in his or her career, a manager must understand how to manage people, including motivating workers and coordinating their activities.
This course shows learners how to create a people strategy that supports strategic goals, engages in effective talent acquisition, development, and retention, and aligns with an organization's mission, vision, and culture. In this course, you will learn how to assess workforce needs, define strategic HR priorities that align with people strategies, and create action plans that support employee engagement, performance management, and wellness and growth. You will analyze people strategies and models that organizations use to achieve success and develop a strategic framework that includes measurable objectives, timelines, and success indicators. You will also explore a fictional scenario in which you will be asked to be an HR professional who redesigns a people strategy in response to changing business goals.
